【ANOTHER ANON MEME】
I've never done one of these before, but I'd honestly like to see what you think of me, whether it be good or bad or neutral. And obviously it'll be anonymous.

I'm looking into Alfred Hitchcock movies. Anyone have a particular favorite? I'll have to see "Strangers on a Train," because it's only been referenced a thousand times in my experience. I also have to finish "Casablanca". I have to write a paper on how that film utilizes music, or something generally along that line.

I fell down three times today. :( Quite spectacularly, too. It was rather upsetting.

Just thought I'd share. NaNo isn't going so well. College apps take the obvious priority. :( I've got only 4,000 words. How sad is that?
Also, my English teacher gave us a project today. On a paper that says "BYE BYE WEEKEND" on it in big font next to two pictures of Godzilla. >.> Maybe I'll take a picture or scan it later. It's so weird.

Rate this layout. Is it not colorful enough? I'm undecided.
I BOUGHT THE KILLERS CONCERT OFF OF ITUNES. $13 for 1 hour and 53 minutes. And it's interesting, because a lot of the stuff he says is almost exactly the same stuff Brandon said in Rome, just substituting the "English" for "Italian." Anyway, I love it so very much, especially their performance of Spaceman. :D

I seem to have gotten myself addicted to pear juice.

First off, welcome silviadancer !! Glad to have you with us~. :D

So I've picked a new layout to use for now, because the "bandwidth exceeded" banners were getting really annoying, and I don't have the time to load all the graphics individually like the_fulcrum suggests. Also, I can't actually get at the graphics now, because her bandwidth exceeded. I feel so annoying. I hope that after college apps are done, I can get back to experimenting with Corel X.

Tomorrow's my first actual legit 5k race. I'm really nervous about it.

Also~, there's going to be a Supernatural convention in Rome in April that the friend that introduced the show to me wants me to attend. JENSEN ACKLES WILL BE THERE. 8D This makes up not being in D.C. for when David McCallum was there when I'd lived there the past two years. And Kathy Reichs, too, last July.

So, someone I knew told me today that the Killers have their most recent song out. Ok, cool. Except it's on the Twilight Soundtrack. D:

Just...gah~, when I put the Killers and Rob Pattinson in his pasty makeup in the same mental frame....*shudder*. So not cool, guys.

     So yesterday with the cross country team, we were running through some place that's apparently used at some points of the year for sheep. A guy on horseback passed us. And to go down one path, the guy captain had to pull a barbed wire fence out of the way. 0.o And I got separated again. only this time people noticed! And I found them later!

     I'm looking for a new layout. :/ Fruitstyle has nothing that catches my interest, and the_fulcrum is out of banwidth, apparently. Anyone have any suggestions for comms that have layouts?

I'm internationally spreading the NCIS love. I traded my NCIS Season 3 DVDs for my friend's Supernatural Season 1. DEAN WINCHESTER IS FREAKISHLY AMAZING. Also, I found this gif, but it's not actually from an episode I've seen. I wish I hadn't been lazy when I found it. I don't know who I took it from.

I think it's hilarious how Sam is something of the gung-ho guy, but it's always Dean doing the BAMF stuff like kicking down doors and shooting things down. <3

I've also discovered POCKET COFFEE, the most brilliant thing ever to exist. It's dark chocolate with liquid espresso and what is either sugar or honeycomb inside. I don't actually know. The ingredients are in Italian.

I've been studying the past few hours or so and I need some sort of reprieve. I did sign on my email, and got the email from the NCIS soundtrack people. It's kind of cool and kind of cruel they're doing a "GUESS THE PEOPLE, BECAUSE WE WON'T BE OFFICIAL TIL NEXT WEEK" thing, but...

Remember how I said I sprained my ankle? And then mentioned trying to run the 5k? With like four days rest in between?
Anyone care to tell me I'm an idiot, now that I've come to that conclusion myself? 

It's not like two years ago when the sprain was bad enough to send me into shock and swell up to my calf and require x-rays. It was just enough to allow me to think: "Maybe I can get away with it~," only to be shut down on race day, when I couldn't even complete the second half of the warm up. "...Only 4k more to go." The rest of the team runners were like: "Yeah~no. DO NOT pass go. Don't even think about it."

It did not help yesterday, since I can actually walk around now for the most part with some semblance of balance, that I tripped down the stairs in front of the girls volleyball team, and then tripped on a rock running a warm up with the cross country team not ten minutes later. Now I've got an entirely new, interesting pattern of bruises. At least I won't have to feel guilty about skipping practice in favor of studying for the SAT subject tests Saturday. >.>

I signed up for NaNoWriMo yesterday. I'm practically forcing myself to write the story I was talking about earlier (which I can because it specifically mentioned that outlines are ok and I never got farther than that, so I'm good).

This was so pretty I felt I had to share. This guy/group is so cool. X3 They've also done "Chasing Cars," "Human," "Viva La Vida," and a bunch more. :3


Tomorrow I run my first cross country 5k, guys~. I'm not in great shape (by any means), but the course is REALLY pretty. Anyway, cross your fingers so that I don't trip or anything. I'm really nervous. XD

I have two things to share~. First off, thanks to Andy Samberg~. I'm a fan of him on Facebook, and one of his updates showed a piano cover for Lady Gaga's "Poker Face", which sounds pretty cool.

I need to buy more icons, but I'll have to wait until I graduate. >:/ My parents are super security conscious, and don't know I have a LJ. :( 
I want to keep what I have but still add more. :( Also, I found who to credit for the Darcy icon, and this one in the same batch~. :D

I had an AWESOME end to my school day. It was...awesome. I've been so self conscious and struggling because I never learned like half the stuff they teach here, but today I was the only one to get the meaning of a poem (and the author himself explained it in a podcast from a recording 70 years ago, apparently).  SCORE! And this is especially good because today I had to talk to my counselor for an hour about how cruddy my SAT math scores are and how there's almost no hope I'll get into the colleges I'm interested in.

Anyway, I found this picture of the original WW on weheartit, and decided to draw up the Emily D. pic for comparison (so bored and not ready to study for my Psych test). I didn't find the cap I wanted from the MitM, but I did find this not-at-all-recent-but-still-adorable article~.

I was wandering around the internet and I came across the wikipedia page for Irene Adler, and I found this:

I'm a little ":/" at the whole idea of Erik having a Charlie's Angels team, and more so at Christine being one of them, but it's cool to see some of my favorite characters overlap.

Also, the newest Bond movie will come out in 2011~ (along with Batman and Spiderman, for those of you keeping track no one? Good. Unlike me, you're sane.) Daniel Craig is the only official actor on the cast list, of course. It's still in the "Scripting" stage.

I've taken to posting practically daily this week. :/ Sorry if that spams your f-lists. I'm really nervous about orientation tomorrow.

The mental image I got from this of Darcy texting "lol" or maybe even "o rly" to something Elizabeth might have sent him was pretty prominent in my mind.

I spent a little bit going over icons today. I think I may change my layout/icons and buy an actual account soon. Anyway, I came across some rather pretty ones of Anne Hathaway, and it started a whole chain of actors and actresses and who I approve of.



I've also been thinking of ways to get more, I dunno, involved in fandoms more than I already am. Hence, this other cut.

This isn't nearly as exciting as other peoples' news today, but I finally got my schedule-which is still technically subject to change but I doubt it will. Of the previous 2 high schools I've attended, I've never dealt with block scheduling before. My paper looks like the menu of a Chinese restaurant.

Also, I got to thinking about movies (largely with Audrey Hepburn in them, which regrettably I've never seen in action), and I discovered two new cinematic experiences I CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE.

Keira Knightley supposedly in a new MY FAIR LADY remake. The issue is that, though it's marked 2010, there's no technical estimated release date. :( Grr.

And this got me ridiculously excited, though the release date is currently set for six years from now (0.o?) > a WICKED movie. :DDD It's ridiculous how the entire cast is listed as "rumored" though. >.>

     First off, welcome to my newest friend, ana_leez . :) I thought I'd post today to keep up the diagonal line that's formed on my calender. Also, I hoped to work off some of the anxiety for what comes tomorrow, when I'll get my classes and meet with my new counselor and everything.

     Two weekends ago, I bought NCIS Season 6 on DVD (Why didn't they use the pic of Ziva in her pretty dress from that one photoshoot for the cover-like they did almost everyone else?). Up until a few days ago I had totally forgotten the episode "South by Southwest". I remember being exceedingly amused and confused when I saw it as it aired relatively late that Tuesday night (no later than usual) and I distinctly remember being on some meds for one of the recurring cases of Tonsilitus I got last year. Anyway, point of the matter is that I had originally been a little annoyed by the ridiculousness - Tony and Gibbs taking down a helicopter with a sniper-shot after some sort of chase on horseback. Now I think, at least the earlier half of that episode anyway, is very endearing. Especially Tony's experience with horses. XDDD And in the cast discussion of Season 6, I'm relatively certain Rocky Carroll has pinkeye. Anyway, I thought I'd also share some weird cool stuff I found around the internet, completely unrelated to NCIS or any particular fandom.

      I caught myself stalking Zachary Quinto on IMDB the other day. I blame highwaydreamer and katemirrorheart. XD He caught my interest as Sylar on Heroes, which both of the previously mentioned people influenced me into watching, and he was awesome as Spock in Star Trek. Anyway, I was curious to see if he was in any other past or upcoming movies that I might have or will see him in, and a quote of his caught my attention. It reminded me a lot of what Richard Armitage had said on playing Guy of Gisborne.

Also~, there are new photos from Iron Man 2 . It also looks like there's going to be a Star Trek Sequel in 2011, as well as the next batman movie.

This is getting a little weird. I need to make some friends. XD
